It’s one of those days … a day that I am thankful I work from home.
I woke up this morning and as I lay warm and snuggled up in my cozy bed listening to the radio as I was waking up I realized that the rest of the world not as warm as where I was.
Winter has arrived in my part of the world. That is for sure!
The temperature right now is minus 29 Celsius. And that’s warmed up from earlier this morning. At the time when all my kids were heading to their place of work it was much colder.
My youngest is a pastry chef and she takes public transit to get to the bakery. This means she is up way before 5 (one of the draw backs of being a baker). When she headed to work this morning it was minus 35 Celsius – without the wind chill factor taken into account. With windchill factor, the weather man says it was closer to minus 45 Celsius.
Just in case your not familar with Celcius – at the minus 40C point it is also 40 below Fahrenheit.
So I think you get the point. … it’s COLD!!! COLD!!! COLD!!!
And I’m not leaving home.
I will spend the day doing some writing, getting one of my sites updated and working through some of the traffic modules. This weeks sessions have been released and I’m about to learn how I can advertise on Facebook to get traffic to my site.
Then tonight I’ll share an hour with Rose Mis on her blogtalk radio show. I love the way she thinks. After that, it’s an hour with Sandy Krawkoski – she’s become my mindset coach. I have really come to appreciate her Monday calls because she shows me how to put the Lord first in business. She loves the Lord and does not hide that fact. In fact, she is so bold in the Lord that I realize that the reason I feel so motivated by her calls is that she sets a high standard for building a business with God. So I think my day is planned. All I need now is to go make some coffee.
